GREEN PEAS WITH FRESH PARSLEY AND GARLIC BUTTER

1/4 cup unsalted butter

4-5 peeled garlic cloves, thinly sliced

1 lb green pea (frozen green pea thawed)

1/4 cup unsalted vegetable broth

1/3 cup fresh curly parsley, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

 

Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
Add the green peas and broth.

Increase heat to medium-high and cook until the peas are just tender, about 4 minutes total.

Stir in the parsley, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serves 4.
