1/2 Small Onion, minced

1 Tbsp. Butter

1 Tbsp. Lucinda’s Fresh Savory Leaves (no stem), minced

1 Tbsp. Flour

1 lb. Green Beans or French Beans, trimmed, cut into 2” lengths

Salt to taste


Sauté onion in butter, medium heat, until soft. Add salt, savory and flour; cook for 2 minutes. In another pot, boil beans in a small amount of water for about 3 minutes or til tender. Slowly stir in 1/2 cup of this water into the onion mixture and bring to a boil. Add drained, cooked beans, transfer to a bowl, and serve.
