1 large can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 small red onion, sliced thin
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup small olives
salt and pepper, to taste
juice of 2 lemons
6 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons savory, chopped
Combine the chickpeas, red onion, garlic, and olives in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with lemon juice and toss well.
Add olive oil and toss again. Toss with savory and serve.
